His purple hair has been sun bleached extensively. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines white.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Astar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Astar was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Healer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cairn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cairn. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
