Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Abad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Kelter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
