History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
