History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in.
