History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Interpreter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Crown-heir and was forced into it by his family; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She comes from a rich western family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Suhnae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Suhnae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Butcher and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
