He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Orryn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Orryn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Body Guard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Drenna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
