History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Burgell alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Junk Dealer, who enjoyed hunting, Nija was taken on many hunting expeditions. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Nija and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Nala was born with her father's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He got into the Laborer business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Laborer and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Laborer like his mother before him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Takra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Meena enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in the south. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Meena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 56. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
