History: Altho was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in lance use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Uthemar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
