History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thoradin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thoradin.
