Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tarak grew up listening to his father's many stories. A freak accident while working with his Priest father left him crippled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to unite with her sister

Description: 3'6" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a longsword, but if one is not available he will default to his glaive. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arumawann is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arumawann grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Akta was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Akta decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
