History: Yurgunn was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: Flame was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing her hectic life and new locksmith responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Born to a Guard, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Body Guard arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Zaffrab will drive conversation. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Zaffrab was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. A true patriot, Raymond would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Raymond lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raymond grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raymond. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
