History: She was born in the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Oda was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hamil embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is greedy

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She married young, but lost her spouse to dire rats. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gorbundus was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Gorbundus took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.
