She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Slave Trader, and he later adopted a second daughter.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.
