The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Borun was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Savaran was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Nim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
