History: Born in the south to a Junk Dealer, Lamlis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He struck the Junk Dealer job and began his own company from there.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own.
