History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Flame was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When Flame reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has worked as a Shepherd like her father before her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shepherd.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ghaliver isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

History: Seere was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Seere was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
