Robbie was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

When his father died while fighting giants, the young Mindartis began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
