History: Rurik was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
