History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Curran was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born in the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Seamstress for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Seamstress responsibilities is difficult; and to be a spice merchant again

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She struck the Beggar job and began her own company from there.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Halander's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Halander grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. After a long history of fighting, Halander and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 76. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Gilkass lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Bounty Hunter, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and doesn't want to be a sellsword and was forced into it by her family

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Now she works as a music tutor during her time off.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
