She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. During her travels, Beast and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Beast discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Beast fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Nagrette took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor she uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nagrette fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Paelias took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often
