History: Nalaed was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids.
