A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Savaran and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This late middle aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born in the east. Her childhood dream was to be a Apothecary, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: Tomi lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and revenge
