Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is blonde and curly. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His tied-back hair is red. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is an amazing painter.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a red tunic with yellow highlights, and long green pants that bunch up around his shoes. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Born in the south to a Mayor, Fulbar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fulbar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To be a Barkeep again.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: Juliana was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and to be a spy again

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miller and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Alvyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Alvyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: Broce was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Helgret will drive conversation. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Gifted from a young age, Helgret studied abroad. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
