History: He was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Lewis's homeland. Lewis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Elysande hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gurdis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Watson grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Elysande is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When Elysande reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
