History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Oriel liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Volen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Hecat was taken on many hunting expeditions. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
