History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Kite was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Nyx was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. He is baby faced.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. His crest is cut close to his head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. Her auburn hair is long and unkept. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She became a Soapmaker soon after.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Sarah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Sarah reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a Ploughman soon after.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and balancing her hectic life and new ploughman responsibilities is difficult

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Barber. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.
