History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kilvar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shautha was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Barkeep work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Barkeep job and began his own company from there.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
