However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 2'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear flannel. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Curran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Curran. Being a Locksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
