History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tim grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Tim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Engong hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
