Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.
Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Neega is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Her fur is cinnamon, silky, and of moderate length. Her blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Shifting was born on a far eastern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Brewer. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: She got into the Architect business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with pastel slacks. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'1" when asserting herself. Her auburn hair is cut short. Her gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Baz is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
