History: Verin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Callybon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Callybon never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
