Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: Gilbert was born with his father's beautiful face. Gilbert liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
