Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'0" when asserting himself. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker brown hat.
Personality: Thorin is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He keeps his long green crest kept up in a rat tail. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Donaar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Donaar reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Modean wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Modean enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
