His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nelkin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Heather alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
