History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A freak accident while working with her Ploughman mother left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jacoba was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away.

Personality: Eida speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Glassblower, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Eida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
