He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered dire rats who tried to eat her hand. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Elizabeth was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
