Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Left-Handed is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Shepherd born in the past three hundred years. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear flannel. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a Priest first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Damien was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Priest for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: She hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Miner arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Apothecary, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Detective. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born in the east. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to raise her children well

Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is short and auburn. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Traki fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: An older man who typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull white iron scale mail, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ribbles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ribbles. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a rival would like him out of the picture
