Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Astar embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Astar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After months of barely getting by, Murgen managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to prove her worth to the world

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miller for the past few years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
