History: Born to a Barkeep, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a dilettante and was forced into it by his family

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
