Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Purah never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Gimble does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
