History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Volen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aust grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aust. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
