History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a Roofer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Roofer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town.
