Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Abalaba took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up glaive and armor she uses now. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in axe use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Elegant was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
