Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her brass crest is braided into rings. She has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.
Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She uses divination through singing.
History: Jezean was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. During her travels, Jezean and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Jezean discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Jezean fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He carries with him a set of bastard swords on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are green and beady.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: Gifted from a young age, Heward studied abroad. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heward fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to protect his home

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Expand his business.

Description: This woman wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a rapier, but if one is not available she will default to her mace. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her bronze crest is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes are likewise red.
Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Hillanot was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hillanot's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Astaro grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has taken up work as a Miller and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
Motivation: To pay off her debts; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Arnold enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was born in the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: The child of a Miller, who enjoyed hunting, Millicent was taken on many hunting expeditions. After coming to the age of reason, Millicent took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Raer was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
