History: Gerald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Oriel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Being a Fisher kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Herleva grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage.
