History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Akmen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Akmen. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Norkruuth took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
