History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thorpe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thorpe. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thorpe never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
