History: Whurbin was born with his mother's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Whurbin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ielenia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Agnes was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a Baker, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
