Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He carries a battered warhammer and tarnished longbow as well. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Veit embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veit fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Scribe. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Born to a Interpreter, his father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Emeny was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Emeny took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Shepherd, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by her family; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valida grew up listening to her father's many stories. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
