She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Gormogord was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gormogord was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he likes to wear blue tank tops with green pants. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her first spouse was a Layabout, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and balancing her hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
